A32. Christopher Boyd – 法國 France

Christopher Boyd is comics artist from France. He recently published “me, dyslexic” about learning difficulties, and is now working on a comic about Taiwan. I realized that many people in Europe know very little about this island. Since my first visit seven years ago, I have been passionate about Taiwan. I have visited several times, made many Taiwanese friends, and even started learning Mandarin, which I continue to study. I am now working on a comic about Taiwan’s unique story and its people. I hope to help people get to know more about this island through storytelling, combining comics and exhibitions that I want to bring back to Europe. From September 2024 to August 2025, I will be in Taiwan on a working holiday visa. During my stay, I want to make as many contacts as possible with local partners and artists. I plan to visit schools, art communities, and draw all around the island. By the end of my stay, I hope to create a lot of artwork for an exhibition and compelling stories to publish.
