B07. 蔡詠涵 Phyllis Chua – 馬來西亞 Malaysia
我是蔡詠涵，出生於馬來西亞，目前居住在台北。從小熱愛藝術和美學，喜歡探索「色彩」。由於來自一個多元文化的國家——馬來西亞，色彩對我而言具有極深的文化含義。大學期間主修文化人類學，因此我的作品中經常將文化、色彩和花卉結合在一起。
我的創作核心理念和特色多以綠植和花卉為主，因為我感受到在花草的世界裡充滿著歡樂、無憂無慮、舒適自在。而花園中展翅飛翔的昆蟲則被視為「自由」的象徵，這也是我最想追求的目標。我希望透過創作，帶給人們內心世界的充實和豐盛富足。
我的作品已在全球多個城市舉辦聯展和個展，包括台北市、上海、倫敦、巴黎、杜拜、蘇黎世、摩納哥、紐約、雪梨和新加坡。
I am Phyllis Chua, born in Malaysia and living in Taipei. From a young age, I love art and aesthetics, and I like to explore “color” because I come from a multicultural country, Malaysia, where color has a very deep cultural meaning. My majored in culture and anthropology during college years, and therefore often combines culture, color and flowers in my works. The core concept and characteristics of my works are mostly based on greenery and flowers because I feel that the world of flowers and plants is full of joy, carefree, comfortable and at ease, and the insects flying in the garden with their wings spread out are regarded as the image of “freedom”, which is the goal I want to pursue the most. I hope that through my creations, I can bring fulfillment, abundance and richness to people’s inner world. The works have been shown in group and solo exhibitions in many cities around the world, including Taipei City, Shanghai, London, Paris, Dubai, Zurich, Monaco, New York, Sydney and Singapore.
